Happy Shopping to everyone!
If any of my friends know me Black Friday is my day to shop! This year my cousin Lindsey picked up me, my sister and Elizabeth. Did I mention it was 3:20am! What can I say...deals deals deals!
We started at JcPenneys once my sister Heather bought out that store we headed to Younkers. I was having no luck whatsoever, but once we made it to Kolhs I hit the jackpot! Kohls never fails me.
It is also tradition on this very special day to call our cousin Marcy Hardy(who lives in Florida) to make she is out bright and early with us. We have a great time talking about our busy day so far and have some great laughs. We do miss her and her family and if she is reading this needs to come home to shop one of these days!
If any of you were at Kolhs the lines were a killer! We all manage to make it through with a little memories of Elizabeth wanting a power wheels car when she was little and never getting one until one day grandma and papa kk bought her this blue jeep. Elizabeth was so excited but then realized you had to pedal it. It's fun to hear that story, because Elizabeth is 20 years old and still thinks about that.
After Kolhs, we headed over to Target. My whole family should own this store by now! It was a mad house in there but I manage to get everything on my list. So, we headed back to the mall, because some family members (Aunt Tami and Mom) couldn't make it out with the rest of us. Here at Von Maur my family had to rest at the shoe department and my sister went to get up and got her hair caught between the shelf and the chair. I was not there to see it, but Mom and Aunt Tami were laughing at her and not helping.
So, after almost being out for 12 hours it was time to go home and take a nap. I enjoyed that part and tonight Aunt Tami invited all the girls to come over to the house for a GNO! We will be watching 27 dresses and Maid of Honor and eatting in. I'm sure it will not be a dull moment...it never is.

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Thanksgiving for the Milefchik Family was pretty good. Since Tom and I didn't have to work we thought it would be a good idea to sleep in, but reality hit when our youngest daughter Camryn came in at 5:30am wondering if the daycare kids were coming. So, the idea of sleeping was a good thought.
The girls were watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on tv (that is one parade I would love to go and see and it's also on my "bucket" list) and Tom was making his famous green bean casserole to pass at my side of the family. Things were good.
That's when I had an idea that I should open a blog and jot things down for friends and family to read. Caitlyn has wanted me to do this for sometime but I wan't sure if it was a good idea or not. I really enjoy reading blogs from my best friend Lisa Wymer and when I do read her blogs, even though I talk or see her just about every other day, it does make me feel closer to her family. So, I thought why not my family blog. Since it was Thanksgiving why not just start it.
So, I'm hoping that when you read our family blog that you will get the feeling of being close to our family.
Anyway, Thanksgiving on both sides were good. My family is huge! Just on my mothers side of the family there is about 250 people! If you ever watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding, that is my family, except we are not Greek. We are loud and we do get on each others nerves, but there is this feeling of comfort having a big family. No matter were you go there is always a family member close by. Kind of like having angels all around you. Sure don't get me wrong there are times when you just got to get away from them all, but once you have your space you find yourself back in the family circle and it seems like you never missed a beat when you were gone. I wouldn't trade them for anything!
So, I have two Thanksgiving Blessing that I'm thankful for. The first one is my own family. I have a great husband and wonderful children that love me and I completely adore them. My second blessing is have a huge family to make me laugh, cry, get angry with and get down right silly with. I don't know what the future holds for my family or this huge family of mine, but I can't wait to ride the ride with them and find out. What great memories I will have.
Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and count your blessings.
